X-Spurts – Album Launch

X crawled out of the drummer’s basement where they had been rehearsing for 3 weeks and X-plode onto uneXpecting Sydney subculture back in 1977.

Riots, blood, broken glass death and shattered venues followed in the wake.

34 years later the long lost X-tapes have emerged. Imagine the sound of heavy oak doors creaking open as we descend into the vault that hides the safe where these potentially inflammatory tapes had been locked away with the general public’s safety in mind for the last 3 decades. Cobwebs and dust lie thick on the furnishings and floor…

X is about to be reborn!!! It lives! IT LIVES!!!!!

This is the real thing. The original line up captured on tape all those years ago then put under lock and key! Ian Krahe and his razor guitar, Ian Rilen with his bludgeoning bass, Steve Caferio with his bombastic and lethal Ludwick kit with Steve Lucas screeching and howling manically at the moon!

With his former brothers at arms now deceased, Steve Lucas has been forced to cast his gaze far afield to find the ‘right’ kind of people to help launch this belatedly new album.

Be sure to see the next wave brand of X-Music (lead by the man that won’t die) Steve Lucas, when they pool their resources to launch the latest X/AZTEC release … X-Spurts!

Naturally they will also be performing songs from X-Aspirations and At Home with You plus new material from X-Spurts!!!!
