2011 is the 40TH ANNIVERSARY OF JIM MORRISON’S DEATH, and there are planned occasions around the world to celebrate his music and poetry.
MORRISON remains one of the most popular and influential singers/writers in rock history as The Door’s catalogue has become a staple of classic rock radio stations around the world.To this day he is widely regarded as the prototypical rock star: surly, sexy, scandalous and mysterious.
